		<description>For the name, how about &#039;shaped roughing&#039; or &#039;offset roughing&#039;.  Those seem to work well along side &#039;parallel roughing&#039;.

You&#039;re right- it&#039;s not correct by a long shot.  Luckily, I had a small epiphany as I was typing that post and was able to reduce them greatly without much effort.  I just need to see how I can eliminate that last 5% without doubling the code.

Those large Z moves make me worried. But then I almost made scrap a couple of days ago with the same type moves on a pencil finish pass. Backlash and a bad lunar phase :-) contributed.

Shouldn&#039;t be as much of a problem for roughing but something is not quite right.
