V3 Build 16
I just uploaded build 16 to http://www.grzsoftware.com/v2dl.php . I fixed the roughing spikes a little and am now working on getting the rest done in the next day or two. A wanted to float this release in the mean time to see if others agree that it seems like an improvement on their parts. Let me know what you think.

Hi!
I have tested build 16 on a simple work and it went rely bad. It gives a lot spikes. I can send you some screen shots or the part if you are interested.
Best regrads
Gunnar
It shouldn’t be perfect but it should be better than V15. Is it?
I have the major improvement being tested now for build 17. So far it’s a vast improvement but I still need to fine tune it a little.

Build 15 is much better than build 16. I will send you two screen shot from the two different build’s. I send them on your support mail adress.
Gunnar
Greetings,
I am getting the same results as Gunnar. Drastically many more spike errors on build 16.
Best regards
Jose
Thanks for the feedback Jose. I looked at the images from Gunnar and I see exactly what the problem is. He sent me some files to try so I should be able to get his case fixed as well. It’s probably the same problem you’re having but it would help to have your data as well. If you can, please send me your STL file and toolpath settings. I’ll include them in the testing for the next beuild

I will be sending the files and information to your support email address shortly.

Found a fun little bug. This one has been around for a while. This is a Windows 7 64-bit bug.
Meshcam never remember the tools after I close/open it. It always starts with a blank tools page. When I run meshcam in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode it works fine.
Perhaps a small enhancement; a menu option (Perhaps under CAM) to being up the “select tool” menu.
I never thought about it but I would have expected that to be a problem under Windows 7 32-bit as well. The problem is that I have the tools in the program files directory to avoid spreading files around. I’ll have to change it to store them in the users profile.
Thanks for bringing this one to my attention.
