What is "DNC (Direct Numeric Control)"
DNC (Direct Numeric Control) refers to the direct communication of NC (Numerical Control) code from a computer to a CNC machine tool.
Originally, DNC systems allowed the transfer of NC code data directly from a computer to a CNC machine tool, eliminating the need for manual data entry.
DNC systems are now only used for older CNC machines that do not have enough memory to hold a complete CNC program in memory.
